A few months later, it was nominated by the Central Pennsylvania Hall of Fame for “Best Instrumental Album of the Year” and was also awarded “Best Classical-Crossover Album” of 2022. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Fast forward to 2026 - now you can join an exciting new adventure that provides sanctuary to souls and spreads the joy of music worldwide. Frances and Kirstin, along with Nashville’s Phillip Keveren, are collaborating to create a remarkable follow-up to Midwinter’s Gift. With Keveren’s renowned arranging and production skills, and the London Symphony Orchestra’s recording prowess, Double Keyed is already in the process of crafting a second captivating instrumental Christmas album. In April 2026 they met with the London Symphony at Abbey Road Studios as they recorded they recorded the orchestral parts to this cinematic masterpiece. Dear Reader We have been enjoying truly beautiful fall weather here in central PA - and for Frances and I, that makes us think...well, it's only 77 days until...Christmas! Well. I guess we're always thinking of Christmas, but, I digress...
The Journey to Joy Events!
The big news for today, though, is that tickets for our album release events, the Journey to Joy! are now available!
This week went to The Meeting House Sanctuary in Carlisle to start preparing for the events and we decided to send you a message:
The afternoon will feature live performances by Frances and I, behind-the-scenes stories and photos, exclusive Abbey Road recording-day footage, and selected tracks from the finished album Returning as emcee to Carlisle's event is ABC27’s Amy Kehm and to our Lancaster event, ABC27's Brett Thackara, who will once again bring the warmth, humor, and conversational style audiences enjoyed at our 2025 London Conversation events.
