Where Souls Find Sanctuary

Three Years of Midwinter's Gift

Frances & Kirstin on the porch of Wildwood Recording Studio outside of Nashville, TN . This was the last day of recording Midwinter's Gift.
August 5, 2022.

Dear Reader,

This month of gratitude marks the 3rd anniversary of our very first album, Midwinter’s Gift!

It’s hard to believe three years have passed since we recorded it in Nashville and what an incredible journey it’s sparked. From that first project to dreaming of Abbey Road, we couldn’t be more grateful for how far this path has taken us.

If you missed our celebration photos and memories, you can see them on Instagram and Facebook. Going through the photos was certainly a nostalgic trip down memory lane and makes me think of what magic can be re-kindled the next time we are there...🤍

Next stop: live TV! 📺

We’re thrilled to be returning to Good Day PA on Tuesday, November 11 (Veterans Day)!

Join us as we re-visit the set of Good Day PA , ABC27's 10:00 AM morning show, as we chat with Brett Thackara and Amy Kehm about our upcoming Carlisle concert. We will also be performing a song from Midwinter’s Gift live on air. Who's crazy enough to play an oboe on live TV? That would be me (Kirstin raises hand 🖐🏼).

A few memories from our 2019 appearance on ABCs7's Good Day PA

🕙 Mark your calendar and tune in Tuesday morning!

A surprise we didn't see coming...

We were completely shocked (in the best way) when a friend sent us a video of an ABC27 TV ad promoting our Carlisle concert, one we didn’t even know existed...leave it to us...

We had no idea ABC27 was creating it, and it made our week. Watch the surprise ad here:

Huge thanks to ABC27, Brett Thackara, and Amy Kehm for their ongoing support of local artists and this project!

In case you missed it...

Earlier this fall, we shared a fun blog post about teaming up with ABC27 and the stories behind our past Good Day PA appearances (spoiler: candle wax and car keys were involved 😅).
